Dr. Appointment

Hello!
Today I went to the doctor and listened to the heart beat! It is so fun! Today it was 144. I will be having an ultrasound next month at about 22weeks to make sure that the baby has all of its fingers and toes. But we won't be finding out if it is a boy or a girl! So you have to wait! Its going to be a big surprise!
So... I already gained 9lbs. I guess weight gain comes at different times for a lot of people and the doctor says this could be explained by me being tall. If you talk to my husband he would explain it by laffy taffys!!!! HA! Anyway, maybe I will give up candy for lent!

Update

I posted a new picture of my little bump in the belly pictures section! It is exciting to have something showing- but mostly I just feel fat. Everyone has been asking me how I feel. I am feeling great! No problems. How could you feel bad when you are never hungover and getting extra naps! My friend Brooke says to enjoy it while I stil can!
I am having a little bit of trouble sleeping becuause I am not supposed to be on my stomach or my back. BR's sister Brit told me about a pillow from target that is made by boppy that helps her sleep- so I am going to try to find that this weekend! Hope you all are having a good week. The Kleins are fantastic!

Baby's first plane ride (and rodeo)!

This weekend I went to Fort Worth for another free school trip! I got so sick on the plane ride there that I was clutching the airsick bag and fanning myself with my magazines. I looked this up online and it says that motion sickness can be exaggerated in pregnant women. You will see I put on a smile for the picture in the plane but I still look pretty awful. Yikes on the way home I kept my eyes closed the whole time and drank sprite. That seemed to help.

When we were in Texas we ate a lot of good food and even got to go to a rodeo! The sign behind me at the rodeo says 'copenhagen, skoal, and rodeo.... american traditions' now isn't that the truth!

Ultrasound Day!

Yesterday we heard the heartbeat (150) and today I had an ultrasound HR (158). The baby's pictures are soooo cute! He/she passed all the tests with flying colors! Look at his cute little nose!

First Ultrasound

We are having a baby! Here are the first baby pics! This was taken at 8w1d. I have been very lucky to be feeling very good. No problems at all. Its a Christmas miracle! Merry Christmas!
